Paint With Toddlers 2017

This year, Paint With Toddlers is sponsored by Just Baby Beds, an online blog dedicated to helping you find the best baby cribs! Susan will be attending, helping to organise the whole trip and flying over from the USA to do so. There will be plenty of child care on hand to guide your little ones so you get paint time too. With Ann’s tutoring, you’ll get the wonderful opportunity to paint our stunning scenery in the company of your little ones.

Brush Strokes Painting Holidays

Come and be inspired to paint the beautiful scenery and views of Snowdonia, based in our comfortable studio.

Over the past few years, many enthusiastic artists have visited Brush-Strokes to enjoy and paint the beautiful surroundings of Snowdonia, in North Wales, and we have another exciting program of painting breaks.

Some of our previous visiting tutors include Carole Baker, Peter Cronin, Jan Gardner and John Palmer, all of whom gently lead our visitors to a more enjoyable result in whichever medium they chose to paint.

Now we have plenty of new visiting instructors as well as some of the above returning for new courses. We are sure you will find a course to suit you, whether you are a beginner, an experienced artist, or just a little rusty, and with groups kept small everyone will receive individual attention from the tutor.

The courses are centred in our comfortable studio, a converted chapel, in the village of Dolwyddelan near Betws-y-Coed, North Wales, UK.

Here there are wonderful painting opportunities, many within a short walk of the studio – mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, interesting cottages, and even a local castle – all with magical light, which is forever changing. Here’s some footage of the scenery.

Inspired by the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia National Park, Ann and Chris moved to Dolwyddelan to set up Brush-Strokes.  Ann, being the resident artist, runs several of the courses herself, and is always on hand with the visiting tutors to help make sure that everyone is enjoying themselves.

She was taught for many years by the well-known artist Carlo Sdoya who had served his apprenticeship under the famous artists Ballerini and Bargellini in his native Italy. Ann and Chris join the groups for relaxed evenings, chatting over supper in one of the many local pubs and restaurants.
